HIGHLIGHTS OF SINGAPORE VISA FOR FOREIGNERS WHO ARE WORKING – LIVING IN VIETNAM

Form of visa: electronic visa and the result will be received via registered email.
From 11 March 2022, all expatriates arriving in Singapore will be notified digitally of their Visit Pass (e-Pass) via email. Your passport won't have any endorsements on it;
Chinese citizens when applying Singapore Visa in Vietnam need to provide their citizen identity document (ID Card);
All documents submitted to the Singapore Embassy/Consulate must be in English or bilingual English-Vietnamese. Otherwise, certified translations into English are compulsory;
If you plan to go on business trip, there is a must that you are invited by a company in Singapore; or in other words, it’s an invitation letter issued by the above-mentioned company. Additionally, your employer in Vietnam needs to provide a letter that they are dispatching you to Singapore for business purposes.

SINGAPORE VISA IN VIETNAM – WHAT DOCUMENTS FOREIGNERS NEED TO PREPARE?

Foreigners who wish to obtain Singapore visa from Vietnam must submit the following documents:

Original passport valid for at least 06 months;
Application form signed by the applicant.
02 passport photos in 3.5cm x 4.5 cm size, white background;
Valid Vietnam Visa or Temporary Residence Card (TRC);
Valid Vietnam Work Permit;
Residential confirmation letter with the certified stamp of the Ward Police where you are residing.

Besides the above-mentioned documents, foreigners need to provide the following for business purpose of entry:

For business owners: Notarized true copy of Business Registration Certification and original Decision to go on business;
For employees: Notarized true copy of Labour Contract, original Decision to go on business;
Copy of the Singapore-registered business entity’s detailed business profile from the Instant Information Service, Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and printed within the last three (03) months;
Invitation letter from the company in Singapore;
A copy of Singapore ID from the inviter.

For purpose of Social Visits including visiting families, friends or tourism, you need to provide the following:

Proof of residence in Singapore;
Flight ticket booking (return way or onwards journey).

SINGAPORE VISA FEE AND PROCESSING TIME

Visa fee: VND540,000 per application (non-refundable, payable in VND and in cash only).
Processing time: 5-7 working days (excluding date of submission). Some applications may take longer to process.
