LIST OF DOCUMENTS

General Documents Apply To All Applicants

1. Original passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Australia;
2. Copy of Passport (passport page and all pages with customs stamps or entry/exit visa stamps);
3. 2 photos sized 4x6cm;
4. Citizen ID card;
5. Household registration book (all pages, including blank pages);
6. Birth certificate
7. Marriage registration (if traveling with a spouse);
8. Australian visa application form (Form 1419);
9. A detailed declaration of relatives;
10. The travel documents.
11. For foreigners in Vietnam: Vietnam Temporary Residence Card & Vietnam Work Permit.

Invitation Documents from Australian Party

Documents from Australian Party for Business purpose:

1. Invitation letter from an Australian partner;
2. If attending the seminar, provide a scanned or pdf copy of the seminar registration confirmation (if any);
3. Proof of relationship with an Australian partner: work emails, transaction documents, etc.
4. Proof that the Vietnamese company has operations: annual report, tax payment slip to the state budget,...

Documents from Australian Party for Visit Relatives purpose:

1. Proof of relationship with the invitee;
2. Proof of income and housing (if the invitee pays for the applicant's trip);
3. Face of the invitee's passport;
4. Long-term Australian residence card or visa if the invitee holds a Vietnamese passport.

Proof of Finance

1. Savings book with a value of 5,000 USD or more, sent as long as possible before the date of applying for an Australian visa; or Certificate of bank account balance with equivalent balance;
2. Red book, real estate purchase and sale documents, car registration certificate, or stocks and shares (if any);
3. Confirm the account balance of the savings book (if any).

Proof of Employment

If Business Owner or Shareholder Contributing Capital:

(Applied for business/tourist/visit relative visa)

1. Business Registration;
2. Tax payment report for the most recent 6 months;

If Salary Employee:

1. Labor contract;
2. Payroll for the latest 3 months;
3. Decision on a business trip (clearly state who pays for the trip) – Applied for Business Visa.
4. Application for leave – Applied for Tourist/Visit Relative Visa.

If Retirement:

1. Retirement card/ retirement decision;
2. Pension book.

If Student:

1. School leave request form (for travel purposes, visiting relatives, clearly stating the class and school attended, time off);
2. Visa declaration form 1229.

PROCESSING TIME

Working hour:

• VFS Global's working hours are from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays and Tet.
• Application reception hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and only accept visitors by appointment.

DURATION AND NUMBER OF ENTRY

An Australian visa is valid for 3 years, with a maximum stay of 180 days, and multiple entries.

Step 1:
FILL OUT THE ONLINE VISA APPLICATION

• Create an ImmiAccount: You'll need to create an online account with the Department of Home Affairs to submit your application.
• Fill out the online application at  https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/uk-visit-visa
• Complete the online application.

Step 2:
UPLOAD DOCUMENTS AND SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATIONS

• Upload your Australian visa application (such as your passport, financial statements, and medical certificates - Only submit when requested,…) according to regulations at least 24 hours before going to VFS to submit your passport according to the appointment.
• Payment is the final step when submitting an Australian visa. Payment can be made by: Credit card/ PayPal/ UnionPay/ BPAY

Step 3:
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

Schedule an appointment at your nearest Australian visa application center. This appointment is necessary for document verification and biometric data collection.

Step 4:
SUBMIT YOUR PASSPORT AND TAKE A BIOMETRIC MARK

• After uploading all required documents, simply bring your passport and print your biometric appointment.
• Pay any applicable service costs, including VFS service fees.
• When you have finished the fingerprint scan, logged into your immiaccount, and clicked to confirm completion, your visa application will now be received and processed by the Australian Consulate/Embassy and the Department of Home Affairs.

Step 5:
GET AUSTRALIAN VISA RESULTS

• Keep a regular check on the status of your application and verify the email address you registered with immiaccount in case you need to add more additional documents, if required
• After processing your application, you will receive the visa results. If approved, your visa will be electronically linked to your passport, allowing you to travel to Australia.
