SEPARATE DOCUMENTS DEPENDING ON THE PURPOSE OF ENTRY

If traveling on a tour: Provide an original invitation letter from a travel organization or company. And, please state clearly:

• Full name;
• Date of birth;
• Passport numbers of group members;
• Confirmation of payment from the travel company for the entire trip.

Invitation letters are sent directly to email: hochiminhcity.visa@eda.admin.ch belonging to the Consulate General of the organization in Switzerland, please state clearly:

• Full name, title, and place of work of the applicant;
• Purpose of entry, location, and duration of stay in Switzerland;
• Documents on conferences, seminars, training programs, etc. (if any).
• Ensure that the invitee or a third party will cover all expenses related to the applicant's trip.

GENERAL DOCUMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS

Personal documents

1. Original passport valid for more than 3 months, with at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps;
2. A recent color photo taken with a light-colored background, the size of a passport photo;
3. Switzerland visa application form;
4. Travel and OBLIGATORY medical insurance for the trip:

• At least 30,000 euros;
• Includes the entire duration of stay and an additional 15 days after the expected departure date from Switzerland.

5. For Vietnamese: Certificate of Residence Information CT07 or CT08.
6. For Foreigners: Temporary residence card or long-term Vietnam visa and work permit (if working in Vietnam).
7. Booking round-trip air tickets;
8. Trip itinerary (business/travel/visit relatives);
9. Booking a hotel for the duration of your intended stay.

Proof of employment

Business owner, capital shareholder, or business household:

1. A business registration certificate;
2. Tax reports for the most recent 3 months.

Salaried employees:

1. Confirmation of employment from the host company (position, working hours, etc.);
2. The labor contract clearly states the position and contract term;
3. Salary slips for the most recent 3 months.
4. Application for leave/ Decision to send on a business trip for business entry purposes.

Retirement:

1. Retirement card/retirement decision;
2. Confirmation of the pension/pension slip for the last three months.

If the applicant is a minor:

1. If only traveling with father or mother: A notarized consent form signed by the father, mother, OR unaccompanied guardian.
2. If not traveling with father and mother: A notarized consent form signed by both parents.
3. Children's birth certificates;
4. Passport or citizen ID card of parents or guardians

Proof of financial

1. Personal bank account statement within 3 months with sufficient balance to cover the trip;
2. Confirm the bank account balance or savings book (if any);
3. Real estate and car ownership documents (if any).

NOTE

1. All documents must be translated into English, French, Italian/German on A4 paper;
2. If it is a copy, it must be no more than 6 months;
3. Please bring all originals on the day of the application.
