MALAYSIA E-VISA TYPE AND DURATION

Both Malaysia Tourist and Business e-visa when applying from Vietnam, foreign expatriate applicants can be granted a visa with single or multiple entries. The approved result will be subjected to Malaysia’s Immigration approval.

Visa category: Electronic visa (E-Visa Malaysia)
Duration: 3-month single entry (tourism) / 6-month multiple entries (business)
Period of stay: maximum 30 days for each entry
Visa is valid from the date of issue

MALAYSIA E-VISA APPLICATION TOURIST – BUSINESS CHECKLIST FOR FOREIGNER STAYING IN VIETNAM

In general, the documents required for Malaysia E-Visa are not so much complicated. All documents are submitted with PDF version & JPG file. In addition, foreign expatriates should take a note that all documents must be in English. If the document is not in English, it should be certified translated into English.

PROCEDURE OF MALAYSIA E-VISA APPLICATION FROM VIETNAM

Step 1: Prepare all the documents in accordance with the visa purpose that you have chosen
Step 2: Create an account on Malaysia Immigration Department
Step 3: Fill in your information and attach all the files as checklist above
Step 4: Do the payment as instructed in the final step
Step 5: Within 48 hours, check your account again to get the result.

MALAYSIA E-VISA FEE AND PROCESSING TIME

Visa fee: USD35 per application (non-refundable).
Processing time: 2-3 working days (excluding the day of submission). Some applications may take longer to process.

WHAT EXPATRIATES NEED TO DO AFTER HAVING MALAYSIA E-VISA?

Please note that the following documents are required to be presented upon arrival at Malaysia entry checkpoints:

Valid passport/ travel document;
Valid eVISA printout (eVISA Note);
Boarding pass/ticket/arrival pass if applicable;
