THAILAND VISA POLICY VISA EXEMPTION FOR ORDINARY PASSPORTS

On January 28, Thailand and China mutually waived the agreement. Specifically, The reciprocal visa-free regime with China will be effective from 1 March 2024. Besides, due to bilateral visa exemption agreements with Thailand, nationals from the listed countries and territories can enjoy entry without the need for a visa. This privilege extends for the specified duration mentioned below. Entry is permissible through any port of entry unless stated otherwise. The duration of stay is 30 days at a time, no more than 90 days within any 180 days.

THAILAND VISA POLICY TOURIST VISA EXEMPTION SCHEME

Under the Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme, citizens from various countries and territories worldwide can enter Thailand for tourism purposes without a visa, enjoying a stay of up to 30 days. This exemption applies to citizens of the following countries: Brunei; Indonesia; Malaysia; Singapore.

Additionally, citizens from the following countries and territories are also eligible for the scheme. THAILAND VISA APPLICATION DOCUMENTS FOR VIETNAMESE & FOREIGNERS - CLASSIFIED BY PURPOSE OF ENTRY

Vietnamese citizens are exempt from Thai visas with a stay of less than 30 days regardless of the purpose of entry. Therefore, for cases where Vietnamese citizens want to enter and stay for less than 30 days, there is no need to apply for a Thai visa. The only condition is that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Thailand.
