Brazil offers type of work visas named VITEM V (Temporary Work Visa): For individuals hired to work under a Brazilian employment contract.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR BRAZIL WORKING VISA OBTANING FROM VIETNAM

To apply for a VITEM V visa from Vietnam, the Brazilian company or organization must first obtain a residence permit for work purposes from the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Security.  

To qualify for a residence permit for work purposes from the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Security, the applicant must typically meet the following conditions:

  1. Passport (Original signed passport, valid for more than 6 months from the date of intention to enter Brazil and at least 02 blank pages)
  2. Completed visa application form
  3. Recent photos size 4x6cm (white background)
  4. Criminal record certificate No 2 issued in Vietnam (with consular legalization) and notarized translation.

The Employer (Brazil-based)

  1. A residence permit for work purposes from the Brazilian Ministry of Justice & Public Security.
  2. Confirmation letter of work content & schedule from the company in Brazil

Confirmation letter of employment from the company in Vietnam or current labor contract

Prepare Documents

Submit Application and Pay the visa fee

Regardless of whether you are in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or any other province, Vietnamese or foreign nationals, Visa applications should be submitted to Brazil Embassy in Hanoi

There are 3 ways to submit a Brazil visa application:

  • You can submit your Brazil visa application directly at the Embassy.
  • You can authorize a third party to submit the application on your behalf: This is typically done by providing a power of attorney or an authorization letter giving the third party permission to submit the application and collect your visa.
  • Submit the application by post: If you submit by mail, you must go to the bank to pay the fee and obtain a receipt, which should be included in your application package sent to the Embassy.

Wait for Processing and Receive Brazil Working Visa

  1. Processing time: 7-10 working days.
