WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR KOREA TOURIST - BUSINESS VISA IN VIETNAM?
1. K-ETA + Short-Term Business Visa:
- Nationality: You must be a citizen of a country eligible for both K-ETA visa-free entry to Korea (check the list on https://www.visa.go.kr/?LANG_TYPE=EN) and a short-term business visa. Contact the Korean embassy in Vietnam for details.
- Purpose of visit: Your primary purpose must be tourism, but you can engage in limited business activities like attending conferences, meetings, or training sessions. Work activities requiring compensation or employment are not allowed.
- Stay duration: You can stay in Korea for the duration allowed by your K-ETA (usually 15 days) and apply for a separate short-term business visa for additional days if needed.
2. Short-Term Visa (Tourism or Business):
- Nationality: This option applies if your nationality doesn't qualify for K-ETA or you require a longer stay or broader business activities.
- Purpose of visit: Choose between a Tourism Visa for pure sightseeing or a Business Visa for permitted business activities like negotiations, consultations, or market research. Work requiring compensation or employment still requires specific work visas.
- Stay duration: Short-term visas typically allow stays up to 90 days with single or multiple entries depending on the specific visa type.
Additional Recommendations:
- Contact the Korean embassy or consulate in Vietnam for the most accurate information and application procedures based on your specific circumstances.
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay and has blank pages for visas.
- Prepare supporting documents as required for your chosen visa type, such as travel itinerary, accommodation bookings, business invitation letters (if applicable), and financial statements.
Remember, these are general guidelines. Always consult the official Korean visa website and embassy/consulate for the latest and most accurate information applicable to your situation.
