1. Vietnam Visa or previous TRC under LD type (original);
2. Work permit or Work Permit Exemption (electronic certificate or notarized true copy).

GENERAL DOCUMENT CHECKLIST FOR VIETNAM TRC APPLICATIONS

1. Original passport;
2. Two (2) passport-sized photographs (2cm x3cm);
3. A written request for a Temporary Residence Card (NA6/NA7 form) must be signed and sealed by a legal representative of the sponsoring /relative;
4. Declaration of foreign applicant’s information (NA8 form) must be signed by the applicant;
5. Introduction letter;
6. Online temporary residential certificate;
7. Business License certificate/ Investment certificate/ Operating license/ Establishment decision (electronic certificate or notarized true copy)
8. If foreigners lose their Temporary Residence card: Application for loss of temporary residence card certified by the ward police committee.

Processing time

Step 1:

Online Submission

• Log in to the National Public Service Portal https://dichvucong.bocongan.gov.vn/ using the Company's VNEID account. If the legal representative is not regularly available to access the account, the company should authorize the responsible staff member to submit applications and monitor application status on behalf.
• Carefully review the application before submission to ensure that all required information and supporting documents have been provided. This helps avoid requests for additional documents and unnecessary processing delays.
• After submission, regularly check the application status on the system to stay informed of any updates or requests from the Immigration Office and respond promptly when necessary.

05-07 working days

Step 2:

In-Person Submission

• After the online application is successfully accepted, the Immigration Office will issue a payment link for the government fee.
• After the payment is completed, sponsoring company must submit the original application dossier in person at the Immigration Office.
• As Immigration Offices often receive a high volume of applicants, it is advised to arrive early to obtain a queue number and minimize waiting time.

05-10 working days

(However, it is still depending on the workload of the Immigration Office at the time of executive applications)

Step 3:

Result Collection

• After submitting the application, you will receive an appointment receipt showing the estimated result collection date. However, the Immigration Office advises applicants to collect the result only after receiving an SMS notification confirming that it is ready for collection.
• The result may be collected either by the sponsoring company's employee or by the foreign applicant.
