Visa DN

For foreigners to work with Vietnamese businesses and organizations as experts, managers, executives, and technical workers. This visa can be extended for up to 12 months.

  1. Original passport;
  2. Current Vietnam visa;
  3. Viet Nam entry approval letter
  4. A visa extension form (Form NA5) and Introduction letter;
  5. Guarantee form for visa extension/ renewal (confirmed by the company);
  6. A notarized true copy of the Vietnamese sponsoring company’s business license;
  7. Temporary residence confirmation.
  • You can extend your business visa for one month or three months.
  • However, the Immigration Department will decide on the visa extension duration after receiving and reviewing the application.
  • For some special nations or Chinese nationals: Depending on the circumstances, a supplement to the position approval letter published by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labor (used in the application for a Vietnamese work permit) may be required.

Visa LD

For foreigners coming to work in Vietnam under a labor contract. This visa can be extended for up to 12 months.

  1. Your original passport;
  2. Your current Vietnam visa;
  3. Pre-approval entry letter of the current visa;
  4. A visa extension form (Form NA5) and Introduction letter;
  5. Guarantee form for visa extension (confirmed by the company);
  6. A notarized true copy of the sponsoring company’s business registration certificate;
  7. A notarized true copy of a valid Vietnam Work permit;
  8. Temporary residence confirmation.
  • You can extend or renew your labor or working visa for up to the validity of your current Vietnam work permit.
  • If your passport number changes, you must present both the new and old passports. Simultaneously, you need to apply for a work permit re-issuance due to a change in passport number.

Visa TT

Issued to foreigners who have relatives who are Vietnamese citizens or relatives who are working and living in Vietnam.

  1. Your original passport;
  2. Your current visa;
  3. A visa extension form (Form NA5) and Introduction letter;
  4. Consular-legalized family book in general or marriage certificate (for spouse) & birth certificate (for children);
  5. A notarized true copy of the sponsoring company’s business registration certificate;
  6. Temporary residence confirmation;
  7. Documents from the sponsoring person:
  • Original or a notarized copy of passport;
  • Original or a notarized copy of Vietnam/ TRC;
  • A notarized copy of Work Permit
  • Have documents proving family relationships.
  • Passport is still valid. If the passport expires, or is too short-term, the foreigner must apply for a new passport.
  • Not deported from Vietnam.

 

GOVERNMENT FEE FOR EXTENSION & RENEWAL VISA IN VIETNAM

According to Circular No. 62/2023/TT-2023 (Amendment to Circular No. 25/2021/TT-BTC) issued by the Vietnam Ministry of Finance Department, government fee for extension & renewal cases will be applied from October 3, 2023 as following:
