SINGAPORE VISA FOR FOREIGNER APPLYING FROM VIETNAM

In addition, Singapore is also an important economic, trade, and education center in Southeast Asia. For foreigners living in Vietnam, would like to applying for a Singapore visa. This article will provide you with the necessary information about the procedures and documents required, as well as the processing time of the visa, so that you can prepare your application and plan your trip.
SINGAPORE VISA TYPE AND DURATION
Both Singapore Tourist and Business visa when applying Vietnam, the applicant can be granted a visa with single or multiple entries.
- Visa category: Electronic visa (E-Visa Singapore)
- Duration: 2 months (length of stay depends on the customs officer)
- Number of entries: Single entry or multiple entries
SINGAPORE VISA TOURIST – BUSINESS CHECKLIST FOR FOREIGNER STAYING IN VIETNAM 2023
♦ Personal documents applying for both Tourist and Business purpose:
- Visa application form IMM14A
- 2 photos, size 4x6cm, white background
- Original passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry)
- Original Vietnam Visa and entry stamp in Vietnam
- Original Vietnam Work Permit, Vietnam Temporary Residence Card
- Vietnam temporary residence confirmation:
+ For foreigners with a short duration of stay in Vietnam without a Vietnam work permit or TRC, you just need to have a confirmation letter from the place where you are residing;
+ For foreigners with a long duration of stay in Vietnam with a Vietnam Work Permit and TRC, you need to have the confirmation letter with the red stamp of the Ward/ District Police where you are residing;
- Round-trip air booking (if any)
- Other support documents that are required by the Embassy or Consulate of Singapore in Vietnam
♦ For Tourist purpose, please kindly help to provide as the checklist mentioned below:
- Letter of recommendation V39A (for difficult nationalities only) – (if any)
- Copy of the Singapore contact's identity card (for difficult nationalities only) – (if any)
♦ For Business purpose, please kindly help to provide as the checklist mentioned below:
Documents need to be prepared by the Inviter (Singapore company)
- Invitation letter
- Form v39a
- Singapore Company Business Registration printed within 3 months
- Passport and ID of the invitee
Documents need to be prepared by the Invitee (Vietnam Company)
- For business owners: a notarized copy of the business registration (with the original one for comparison)
- For employees:
+ Notarized copy of work permit, TRC card (with the original one for comparison)
+ Decision for a business trip
Note: All documents must be in English or be translated into English.
PROCEDURES OF SINGAPORE VISA APPLICATION
- Step 1: Prepare all the documents in accordance with the visa purpose that you have chosen
- Step 2: Book an appointment on the website. After booking, the consultant will send you an email with the appointment schedule
- Step 3: Come to the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore by appointment via email, bringing the complete documents as instructed above, to apply
- Step 4: After 5-7 working days, check your email to get the results.
NOTES WHEN APPLYING FOR A SINGAPORE VISA
- All documents submitted to the Singapore Consulate must be in English with legal translation, and all original documents must be brought for comparison.
- There is no need for the applicant to be present to submit the application.
- Results will be sent to your email.
SINGAPORE VISA FEE AND PROCESSING TIME
- Visa fee: VND540,000 per application (non-refundable, payable in VND and in cash only).
- Processing time: 5-7 working days (excluding the day of submission). Some applications may take longer to process
