If you overstay for your visa in Vietnam, you could not leave the country without paying the fines and obtaining a visa extension stamp (exit visa) on the passport in advance. Whoever intentionally commits repeated offenses for a long time, without respecting for the law, the level of punishment may include administrative penalties, limitation of Vietnamese immigration and enforced deportation. Please remember that overstaying is a serious offense and to avoid all this, pay attention to your visa validity and that it coincides with your date of departure.

Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Belarus are granted unilateral visa-free entry no more than 15 days, after 15 days visa exemption they must leave the country for their home or another country and it takes at least 30 days since the latest exit from Vietnam to enter again without Vietnam visa. In the case that they wish to extend their stay in Vietnam by using visa extension or renewal service, conducting this service depends on their current visa type, nationality, the time of the year and purpose, visa extension allows them to stay more in Vietnam without leaving the country.
