Tourist visa is granted for foreigners attempting to enter Vietnam for tourism purpose. The tourist visa is valid from 1 to 3 months with single or multiple entries (Only United States nationals are able to arrange one-year visas), and the tourist visa must be sponsored by a travel company. Or Visa exemption apply for the citizens of some countries, including Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Belarus. The duration of stay is 15 days provided that the gap between the 2 entries via visa free access is 30 days. Like business visa, you can pick up the tourist visa either through visa on arrival at Vietnam’s international airports or through Vietnamese Embassy/Consulate in your countries. If you wish to extend your stay without having to leave the country, you can do so by applying for a visa extension or renewal. However, not all nationalities are eligible to apply for a visa extension/renewal, and the requirements change accordingly as well.
